A letter about Christmas, from Hawaii

Hello from Hawaii!

I’m having a sunny time. It is 22 degrees. As soon as I landed I needed sunglasses.

The Christmas traditions of Hawaii are a labour of love and creativity.

Some Hawaiians create Xmas trees by decorating the Palm trees with bells, and substitute Father Christmas’s sleigh and reindeers with a canoe and dolphins.

They sing hula carols with ukuleles and there are presents in all houses. Is there a present for me in your house? There is a present inside the box I’m sending you. Do you like Lilo & Stitch?

Write to you soon

Mr. G.

P.D: I am on the beach. I will swim and surf (but not on the Web). I cannot believe that it is Christmas Eve. It’s not cold!
